Welcome to My Personal Page - Lorraine Warnsley - Daughter of Hattie Warnsley
Hattie Warnsley (My Mom) was a patient of the Sickle Cell Clinic at Interfaith Medical Center for over 44 years. In 2009, my Mom was the 'oldest' living patient in the Sickle Cell Clinic at Interfaith Medical Center (Brooklyn, NY).
My Mom suffered with the symptoms of the Sickle Cell Disease for 79 years. It should be noted that in the US, on an average, men with sickle cell disease live for about 42 years, while women live for 48 years.
The Sickle Cell organization provides guidance, assistance and support for families that are affected by this disease.
As a tribute to my Mom, and her heroic battle with this disease, I would like to show my appreciation and continue to support this wonderful organization.
I’m registered to participate in the SCTPN Walk for Education and Awareness ( Team Captain- Hattie Warnsley-Interfaith Medical Center) and I am asking for your support.
